Jean Haub Shively, 89, New Albany, died Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at the New Albany Nursing and Rehab.
Born Dec. 19, 1925, in Palmyra, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Haub and Bess Feiock Haub.
She was a secretary for the former Colgate Palmolive Plant in Jeffersonville.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Gene D. Carroll, and four siblings.
Survivors include her husband, Joel Shively; a son, Steven Carroll; a daughter, Pam Pitman; two grandsons; and three great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life: Monday, Oct. 26, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Love Funeral Home in Palmyra.
Memorial service: Monday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in Palmyra Cemetery. Cremation was chosen.
