They then moved to Palisade Colorado and then Grand Junction area in 1916 wheree her parents owned and operated the Peacock Coal Mine in the Bookcliff area north of Walker Field Airport. Toni atted school at Pear Park and Fruitvale.
She met and married Harold Albert Stafford in Grand Junction on March 23, 1935. He preceded her in death December 13, 1983. Toni and Harold owned and operated an excavation, Landscaping and Gravel Business in the Grand Valley for approximately 30 years. She was a resident of the Grand Junciton area for 85 years.
She enjoyed gardening and Family, traveling and gaming at Black Hawk Colorado. She spent many hours in her later years making special projects for all family members. All of her children and grand children saw her a a person of great courage, determination and high moral family values. Family to her alway came first and foremost. She was a great listener and a teacher of life and how to treat otehrs.
Grandchildren were alway welcomed with love, ope arms and support.
