Well Known Resident of LaSalle County Passes Away Near Wenona.
Wenona. June 15. (Special.) John Danaher, five miles southeast of Wenona, and about one mile from Leeds, died about 1 a.m. died after an illness of about one year's duration. Mr. Danaher was born in Ireland on September 15, 1846. He has been a resident of LaSalle county the past forty or fifty years and was well known and highly esteemed. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Matilda Asherman Danaher, and four children, a married daughter, who lives in Granville; Miss Birdie, Michael and John, at home; and two sisters and two brothers, Mary, Margaret, James and Patrick, who reside on their farm near Lostant. The funeral will he held at St. Mary church at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Rev. D. O'Dwyer will conduct the services. Interment will be made in St. Mary cemetery at Wenona.
