Skandia Cemetery Armena, Alberta, Canada. Wife of Hallvard Olson Almberg who died in Norway in 1862. After he died she came to America with her children Marit, Rannei, Brit, Margrete, Ola and Johan. They first settled near Porter Minnesota. Brit and Ola died there. Then Brit moved with her daughter and her family (Sather) to Armena to homestead. They homesteaded just south west of the cemetery. Johan and Margrete died near Czar Alberta and are burried at the Sardis cemetery along with their children. Other grandchildren (children of Ola Almberg) are also burried at Sardis Cemetery.
