George H. Blood, 48, RD3, was fatally injured about 7 o'clock last night when the light pick up truck he was operating tipped over on him after it had run into hardpacked snow on the side of the road near Pulaski.
Mr. Blood was on the way to Sandy Creek to visit his two children, whe are residing with their grandmother, Mrs. Vallie Chrisman.
He was born in Lorena March 17, 1899, son of Herbert W. and Katherine Root Blood. He had been a resident of Rome and vicinity all his life and for the past six years had been employed by General Cable Corp. He was a veteran of World War I.
Surviving are a son, Charles E. and a daughter, Frances L. Blood, his mother, four brothers, G. Lyle Blood, Adams, J. Lloyd Blood, Rome, Donald G. Blood, Rome and E. Gerald Blood, Remsen and one sister, Frances M. Blood, Rome.
