On April 26, 2015 Clayton Baldwin Thomas, 94, of Clay, NY, son of Reda and Fred Thomas of Mattydale, passed away at Upstate Medical. He previously was employed at Syracuse & Oswego Motor Lines and American Airlines. He was a member of the Marine Corps and a veteran of WWII. He enjoyed boating, skiing and woodworking.
He was predeceased by wife, Jean VanWie and daughter, Patricia Patzke.
Survived by daughter, Barbara Gilmore of Central Square and son, John (Libby) Thomas of Cicero; grandchildren, Kevin Kritzer, Tony Copper, Lenny (Julie) Cooper, Amy (Donald) Burnell, Carrie Ryder, James (Alyson) Thomas, and several great-grandchildren.
