Hazel Mae was born to Mary Jane nee Lowery and Robert S. Lowry. She was blessed with siblings: Norman, Bessie, twins Seth and Stan, Floyd, Walter and Gladys.
She had several nieces and great nieces with her namesake. She was loved by many extended family.
Her life was very full with athletics in girls softball and her amazing talent led her to be the Janesville tennis champion in 1918. Throughout her life she was in contact with her great niece Colleen Lowry and kept the Lowry family namesake into the next generations. She had much involvement with family-caring extensively for niece Norma and Marj Lowry in their growing years and always taking much care of siblings Floyd, Walter and Gladys, her nephew Stan and Dolores Lowry and his "kiddies" as she called them. She always remembered the births of her niece Colleen LowryKeen's children. She and niece Colleen had great love for one another and visits with her gr.gr.nephew Eric Robert at DQ with hotdogs/rootbeer on several occasions in his young grade school yrs. showed a special bond.
She will be fondly remembered for her deep love of nieces Norma and Marj. Her first marriage to Mr. Fullerman was short lived with his illness and ultimate death. Her marriage to Clarence Olson was such a great blessing in her life. They journeyed into the smoke/soda shop in Burlington Wisconsin. Husband Clarence worked his life
travelling for the auto industry - headquarters in Janesville, WI.
She had amazing abilities to connect family. 2ndCousin Howe(cousin Jesse Belle Lowry's son) and gr. niece Colleen made numerous family connections to find family roots with Hazel's insight and love of family.
Her burial and Clarence's gravesites are near nephew Stanley/Dolores Lowry at Milton Lawn Cemetery. Seth laid to rest next section -Family were all joined together forever.
Her memoirs continue on in niece Colleen's family-with gr. great niece Heidi being a tennis champion to carry on Hazel's talent.
