REGINA DENNIS, 84, COLUMBIA NATIVE
Regina "Jean" Ziegler Dennis, 84, of Salisbury, Md., died of natural causes Tuesday at home.
Prior to moving to Salisbury in 1961, Mrs. Dennis was employed by J.C. Penney Co. and Columbia Water Co.
She was a 1934 graduate of Columbia High School.
She was a volunteer for the Columbia chapters of Red Cross and Girl Scout Association of America. In Salisbury, she volunteered at Deer's Head Hospital and was active in St. Francis de Sales Parish.
Mrs. Dennis was a former member of Green Hill Yacht and Country Club.
Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late William and Matilda Ziegler.
Her husband, L.W. "Larry" Dennis, died in 1992.
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara Long of Salisbury; a son, William L. of Sarasota, Fla.; four granddaughters; a brother, James W. Ziegler of Media; three sisters, Mary S. Lehman and Rosealma Z. Kitch, both of Columbia, and Freda Z. Von Stetten of West Chester.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Paul E. Ziegler.
