Jeffrey E. Yates, 53 of Crown Point passed away Thursday, October 15, 2015. He was born May 28, 1962 in Leavenworth, KS, son of the late Daniel and Marilyn (Sanders) Yates.
Jeff was a boilermaker, working with the Local 374 Boilermakers Union and was a member of GracePoint Church, Valparaiso.
Jeff is survived by his daughter, Amber Yates; son, Daniel Yates; grandson, Lucas Santana Chapa; sisters, Kathy Daniels and Debbie Yates; brother, Jerome Yates; many nieces and nephews; best friend, Rob Sutton and his family; and his many loving friends in Recovery and the Boilermakers Union.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Dylan Yates.
