She was born June 12, 1929, in Jackson County to William H. and Elzora (Warfield) Morefield. She married Howard Reynolds Sr. and, through this union, they had seven children. She later married Charles Roberts and Earl "Red" Ellis, who preceded her in death.
Eunice was a mother and housewife.
Survivors include six children and their spouses, Howard and Pat Reynolds of Dowell, Rick and Janice Reynolds of Vienna, Randy and Pam Reynolds of Murphysboro, Kevin and Susie Reynolds of Carterville and Rhonda Ponde and Karen and Bill Childers, all of Murphysboro; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two daughters-in-law, Linda Reynolds and Jeri Reynolds; two sisters, Vivian Johnston and Marilyn Colleen McMurphy; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Larry Reynolds; four brothers, Charles, John, Vernon and Jesse Morefield; three sisters, Opal Morris, Nellie Clark and Esther Harris; and her parents.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22, in Pettett Funeral Home in Murphysboro with the Rev. James Easton officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Grove Memorial Park. Visitation will be from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
