He was born Jan. 2, 1924, in a log cabin at Yellville, Arkansas.
He served in the Army and was a veteran of World War II, where he was wounded and received a Purple Heart. He was an amazing husband, father and devoted member of the Church of Christ.
Doyle was preceded in death by his son, Jimmy, and daughter, Teresa.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Jessie; three sons, Thomas (Suzanne) of Cabot, Timothy (Shelia) of North Little Rock and Tony (Ellen) of Chicago; and 13 grand-children.
Graveside services were at Mount Carmel Cemetery in Cabot under the direction of Roller-Owens Funeral Home, North Little Rock.
