Debra Griffith, 55, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at her home. Debra was born on March 14, 1960 to Leonard Griffith and the late Patsy Enos in Berrien Springs, MI. She was a very strong and loving mother, companion, grandmother and friend. Debra worked as a caregiver and was a selfless woman, always ready to take care of anyone in need. She is survived by her father, Leonard Griffith; children, Michael (Mandy) Avery, Amber (Daniel) Meyers, Scotty Barwick and Lindesey Barwick; companion of 16 years, Jerry “Bo” Clark; brother, Roger (Lynn) Griffith; grandchildren, Dominique Mead, Michael Avery, Javonni Barwick, Elijah Barwick, Anthony Frizzell and one grandchild on the way; grandmother, Velma Irene Prince; niece Alexis Griffith and many other family members and friends. Debra was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy; grandson, Aiden Mead and beloved dog, Baby Girl. Funeral services for Debra will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2014 at Hoven Funeral Home, Buchanan.
