of Waterford; died August 7, 2015 at 91 years of age. Born April 5, 1924 in Russellville , Kentucky to the late A. Y. and Esther Reid. Beloved husband of N. Gail Reid and the late Mary Wilma Reid; loving father of Ralph “Dan” (Jeanice) Reid and Steven Boyd Reid; dearest grandfather of Adam, Jeanaiah, Andrew and Jonathan; great grandfather of Asa. Preceded in death by his siblings Margaret Van Horn, Esther Parker, Naomi Ruth Goad, Albert Y. Reid Jr., Scharlene Reid and Lois Carneal. Mr. Reid was a finish Carpenter for General Motors for over 20 years. Joe was also a WWII veteran serving in the U S Army and was a founding member of Columbia Ave. Baptist Church.

Tuesday from 3:00-5:00 & 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Funeral Service:

Wednesday, August 12, 2015, 1:00 p.m. at COATS FUNERAL HOME –WATERFORD. Pastor Brad Adams officiating. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
