Elizabeth Gibbs Stratton, age 93, of Homer Road, Russellville, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2015 at the Creekwood Place Nursing and Rehab. She was a Logan County native born May 8, 1922 to the late Thomas B. Gibbs and Rosa Lee Herndon Gibbs. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Fred Milton Stratton, Sr.
She is survived by:
1 Son ~ Fred Milton Stratton, Jr. and wife, Susan ~ Russellville, KY
1 Daughter ~ Peggy Wright and husband, Warren David ~ Lewisburg, KY
10 Grandchildren
14 Great Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by a daughter Linda Robinson and infant daughter Betty Sue Stratton.
Funeral Services for Elizabeth Gibbs Stratton will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home with Bro. Bob Barnes and Bro. Gene Bracken officiating with burial to follow in Stevensons Chapel Cemetery. Visitation at Summers, Kirby and Sanders Funeral Home will be held Monday, October 19, 2015 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm and on Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until the service hour of 11:00 am.
