Final rites for Cora Hassie Goulding, 85, who died Aug. 24th in Electra Nursing Center, were held Monday, Aug. 26th at 2 p.m. in First United Methodist Church with Rev. Johnny Irish, pastor, and Rev. Ed Miller, a former pastor, officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under direction of Totten-Day Funeral Home.
She was born Feb. 19, 1900 in Leon, Okla., daughter of the late William and Sarah Plumlee Sloan and married Wylie Goulding, June 4,1922 in Saint Jo. She lived in Electra for 40 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church and Ladies Auxiliary to the V.F.W.
Survivors in addition to her husband include: two sons, J.W. Goulding of Cleburne and Doil Goulding of Ft. Worth; two daughters, Ann Morrow of Ft. Worth and Virginia Lee Lewis of Sacramento, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Emmett Sniflet of Gainesville; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grand children.
Pallbearers were Grandsons, Duaine Goulding, Rick Goulding, Doug Goulding, Gil Goulding, Randy Morrow, Steve Bennett._
