Mrs. Kate E. Martin, widow of the late Charles E. Martin, died Monday evening at 6:45 at her home on Court Street, after an illness of little more than a week. Mrs. Martin had been in poor health for many years and suffered from frequent attacks of asthma. Last Tuesday she was stricken with pneumonia and her condition became gradually worse, the fatal ending coming after a long period of unconsciousness.
Mrs. Martin was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B.S.W. Clark, of this city. She is survived by three children, Miss Adeline L. Martin, Charles E. Martin and Harry Martin.
