SNOW HILL | Mrs. Dollie Spivey Fields, 78, died Saturday, October 17, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Fields was a native of Greene County and the widow of the late George W. Fields. Her surviving family includes a daughter, Denna Fields Wells of Snow Hill; sons, Mitch Fields of Kinston and Stanley Fields of La Grange; sisters, Veldt Bailey of Florida and Portia Phillips of Georgia; nine grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 4 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, at the Snow Hill Cemetery.
