Mrs. Dorotha Black Cochrum, age 85, of Mayfield, KY passed away on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at The Gardens of Hickory Woods in Murray, KY.

She was a member of Northside Church of Christ in Mayfield, a member of the Lynville Homemakers, a Pink Lady with Jackson Purchase Hospital Auxillary, an American Red Cross volunteer and a homemaker.

Mrs. Cochrum is survived by two sons, Steve Cochrum of Murray, KY and Phillip Cochrum of Mayfield, KY; one daughter, Christie (John) Sidwell of Arlington, TN; one sister, Frieda Keen of Fulgham, KY; three grandchildren, Andrew (Candice) Cochrum of Golo, KY, Amy Dye of Murray, KY and Joni Sidwell of Arlington, TN; and four great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. A. Cochrum; three brothers, Dwane Black, Wayne Black and Ralph Black; and her parents, Sell and Jennie Darnell Black.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Byrn Funeral Home of Mayfield. Bro. Richard Adams will officiate. Interment will follow in the Cuba Community Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Teddy Clapp, David Clapp, Danny Ford, Ty Cochrum, John Sidwell, David Seay and Tony Smith.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at the funeral home
