Daughter of Albert Phillip Lahar (also recorded as LaHar) and Nancy Jane 'Jennie' White, she married 1st. Herry Freeman Studley in New Bedford, Massachusetts on September 26, 1900.
Their known children:
1. George Harold, b. 1901, d. 1969, m. Myra B. Pearson
2. Eleanor Adele, b. 1920, later adopted by Albert Hadfield Humes, d. 1979
Mary and Harry appear to have separated and divorced soon after their daughters birth and Harry remarried in 1923.
She married 2nd Albert Hadfield Humes in Seekonk, Massachusetts in 1928 and all VR for young Eleanor list her as Eleanor Humes after that.

Mary's last residence in her Social Security Death VR was in Kingston, Rockingham County, New Hampshire but her POD is recorded in the Massachusetts Deaths Index as Lawrence, MA.
Given the size of the town of Kingston, N.H. and it's proximity to the much larger city of Lawrence, MA. it seems likely that if she needed hospitalization that she might be taken there, so I have used that location as her POD.
