Funeral services were held Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 2 p.m. from the First United Methodist Church of Electra with Rev. Bob Lee, pastor, officiating. Interment was in Electra Memorial Park under the direction of Dutton Funeral Home of Iowa Park.
Mrs. Doores was born December 20, 1909 in Farmersville, Texas. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Electra and the Twentieth Century Club. She was a retired school teacher. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Doores, father, Clovis Wade Coffey, Sr. mother, Mattie Irene (Keller) Coffey; brother, Joe Coffey, brother, Robert Frank Coffey and brother Clovis Wade Coffey, Jr.
Survivors include three sons, Richard (Dick) Doores of Bedford, Texas; James Howard Doores of Amarillo, Texas and Robert Wade Doores of San Antonio, Texas; 8 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Electra.
