Rev. Fred Alban Weil
Rev. Fred Alban Weil, for the past three years minister of the First Unitarian church, Salem, Or., died in Salem June 7 after a two-weeks’ illness. He is survived by his widow, Ellen Eliot Weil, daughter of Rev. T. L. Eliot of this city, and by two children, Thomas Eliot Weil, Washington, D. C., and Janet Hobart Weil, a student in Willamette university. Before he entered the ministry in 1904 Rev. Mr. Weil was engaged in newspaper work. He held pastorates in Chicago, Bellingham, Denver and Quincy, Mass. The funeral will be held at the Portland crematorium, Friday, June 9, at 2 P. M.
