Patricia Lowery, age 81, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2015, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 11, 1934 in Sand Lake, Michigan. Mrs. Lowery was a member of Portland United Methodist Church, and graduated from Portland High School. She attended Mercy School of Nursing and worked for Dr. Brown's office in Portland for many years.

She married Frederick Lowery on August 3, 1952 and together they shared 63 wonderful years of marriage. Pat was devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her joy was her family and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Pat was a fixture for many years at Portland Raider events, was a Spartan and Tiger fan and after retirement loved spending time with her friends in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents William and Betty Howard; in-laws Elmo and Merle Lowery; daughter Kay Priebe and a grandson, Fred III. Surviving are her husband, Fred; children Anne (Dennis) Bellinger, Mike (Mary), Dan (Kim) and Fred, Jr. (Amy); grandchildren Brooke (Chris) Miller, Jill (Chris) Janczewski, Alex (Abby) Priebe, Paula, Paige, Morgan, Eric, Madison, Payton and McKenzie; 4 great grandchildren; brothers Robert (Ginny) Howard and Jack (Bonnie) Howard; sisters Bonnie (Joe) Wieber, Linda Kirschenman and Jill (Don) Figge; sister-in-law, Jan (Brad) VanDeventer and several nieces and nephews.

The Funeral Service will be conducted by Pastor Tish Bowman at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the Lehman Funeral Home, 210 E. Bridge St., Portland. Interment will follow at Portland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Tuesday at the funeral home. For those desiring, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing or Portland United Methodist Church in memory of Patricia.
