Dec. 9, 1929 - Oct. 18, 2015 Della Mae "Nanny" Martin age 85 of Bayview, passed away on Sunday. She was an active member of Bayview Baptist Church for 55 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Hugh Martin, her parents and two sisters. She is survived by daughters, Connie Taylor (Lee), Annette Mixon (Mike), Lisa Bennett; sons, Marty Martin (Ramona), Alan Martin (Sherry); brother, Tom Walker; sister, Mary Anne Capps (GW); Carl Martin; fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. Also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was a loving Mom and Nanny, loved children and visitors, welcomed everyone to her home and took under her wing anyone who needed it. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 20th at 7:00 p.m. at Bell Forestdale Chapel with visitation from 5:00 p.m. until time of service. Rev. Charles Click will be officiating. Graveside Service will be on Wednesday, Oct. 21st at 10:00 a.m. at Village Falls Cemetery. Bell Funeral Home Forestdale directing.
