Son of Peter and Marguerite Reidenbach; stepson of Caroline Maus; husband of Elizabeth Flora

Another old resident passed away yesterday morning when Jacob Reidenbach, after a long and trying struggle, succumbed. The deceased was about 60 and had been a cripple for several years. Death was due to paralysis. Mr Reidenbach had lived on this side since a young man, and before he was cripple, took a leading part in political and social life. He was for many years a car builder in the service of the Lackawanna and it was while employed at the old car shops, recently demolished, he met with such injuries as incapacitated him from work for the rest of his life. Besides his wife, the following children survive: Frederick, August, Jacob, Anthony and Ferdinand, Mrs Bernard McGeehan, Mrs William Haynes and Miss Emma Reidenbach. Five sisters and two brothers also survive: Mrs John Rorick, Mrs Henry Brunner, Mrs George Scheuer, Mrs Fred Pontius, Mrs James Drew, and John and August Reidenbach. Funeral tomorrow morning from home, 518 Stone ave. ~Scranton (PA) Republican, Tue 30 Oct 1906
