Harvey Alexander was the son of:
Lee Banks Alexander (1869-1949)
Ada Pauline Wood (1873-1938).
His parents were from Georgia.

Harvey Alexander married Maud Elizabeth "Eliza" Ing in 1917 in Waxahachie and had two children:
Melvin Lee Alexander (1918-1980)
Mildred Frances Alexander (1924-1993).

Harvey and his wife Maud moved to Ysleta, Texas in the early 1920s where he continued to be a Cotton Farmer along with his wife Maud Elizabeth's parents Eli Ing and Czarina Fannie Clark. He moved eventually to Pecos, Texas to be the manager of a Cotton Farm. They moved later in life to Lytle, Texas to be close to Maud Elizabeth's younger sister Myrtle Ing Mathews.

Harvey Alexander and his wife Maude Eliza Ing of 63 years lived in the some of the worst and best times: two World Wars, Korea War, Vietnam Was and the Great Depression. Harvey did not serve in the Armed Forces because he was a Cotton farmer.
Harvey Alexander and Maud Elizabeth opened their hearts and raised with love two of his two grandchildren (oldest sons of their daughter Mildred Frances Alexander):
Richard Lee "Pete" Jamme Smythe (1945-2003)
Charles Paul Dunifer (1948-living)

There were no finer Grandparents in the world for Richard and Charles who took care of them until the end of their lives.
