Iva Mae Davis, daughter of James William and Mary Emmaline (Stafford) Mitchell, was born on August 28, 1924 in Arkansas, and departed this life on October 17, 2015 in Mercy Hospital, Aurora, MO, at the age of 91.
Iva was a retired Nurses’ Aide for St. John’s Hospital in Springfield, MO. She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church, Crane, MO where she was a member of the God Squad Volunteer Group.
Iva was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mary Mitchell and a brother, Claude Mitchell.
Survivors include: a step-daughter, Nadine Cox; two nieces, Wilena Barg and Mary Ethel Urban; two nephews, Gary Mitchell and Bobby Shoemaker and a host of other relatives and friends.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 21, 2015 in Crane Community Cemetery, Crane, MO with Reverend Bob Allmon officiating. Burial will be under the direction of Manlove-Stumpff Funeral Home, Crane, MO.
