Hazel Lee Vaughn was born in Red Flat , Nacogdoches County, Texas to Joe Robert Lee and Fannie Mertice Hudman Lee. She married Gilford Vaughn of Laneville, Texas in Nacogdoches County July 24, 1943.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Gilford Harris Vaughn; parents; brother, Charles Lee and sisters, Ione Blanton, Oleta Self and Leona Pickard; and son-in-law, Kenneth Adams.
Survivors include a sister, Josephine Devaney of Burleson; a sister-in-law, Nell Lee of Nacogdoches; her daughter, Judy Croft and husband Wayne, Brenda Hornaday and husband Jack of Magnolia, Arkansas and Vicky Adams of Normangee; and loving 9 grand children; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Pallbearers: Jeff Croft, Kevin Croft, Chris Adams, Brandon Adams, Matt Beckendorf and Andrew Woolfley.
Memorials may be made to Jacksonville College.
