Delmar "Del" Alan Beegle was born April 2, 1930, in Modesto, Calif., to Otto and Della Beegle. The family later expanded with the birth of his little sister, Shirley Ann Beegle.

Del spent most of his childhood in Washington state and, upon graduating from Wapato High School, he attended San Jose Bible College, where he met the love of his life, Ms. Mollie Gresham. After a short courtship, the two were married on Dec. 16, 1950, and soon started a family with the additions of children, Chris and Charlotte, whom he was very proud of.

Over the next decade, Del held several jobs, raised his family and attended Southern Oregon College, graduating in 1960 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Upon graduating, Mr. Beegle taught fifth and sixth grades for the next 28 years at Falcon Heights and Sterns Elementary, respectively.

Del was an avid photographer and had hundreds of his pictures purchased for church bulletins, post cards, telephone books and children's education materials. When he wasn't teaching, he enjoyed traveling with Mollie and spending time with family camping, fishing, hunting, riding his four-wheeler, working on cars and supporting his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren in school activities and their hobbies.

Del was especially proud to support the Lord's work and was an elder at his church (most recently the Klamath Assembly of God). He went to be with the Lord on Oct. 11, 2015, at 10:25 a.m., surrounded by family after spending two specials days visiting with family and receiving back some of the love he had shared over his lifetime. He was 85 years old.

He is survived by son, daughter, grandchildren, brother-in-law, nieces and nephew, 11 great-grandchildren; and special friend, Jim Newbill, who he had known since he was 13 years old.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mollie (2002), and sister, Shirley (2013).
