Terry was of the Christian faith. After his graduation from Manheim Central High School in 1966, he served his country in the United States Army as a Specialist 4 during the Vietnam War. He was employed by the former Raybestos in Manheim and Armstrong World Industries in the samples department at the Lancaster plant.
Terry was a very social and generous person, never too hurried to talk with whomever he met. One of his favorite activities was supplying the 16th hole at Tree Top Golf Course with a constant supply of cold soda and recovered golf balls. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren – Kaitlyn, Courtney, Madeline, Bryce, and Pierce.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three children, Terry L., Jr., husband of Martha L. Bowers Weaver, of Manheim, JoLynn M., wife of Jim Gohn, of Mount Joy, and David E., husband of Tonya A. Meko Weaver, of Marietta; his five grandchildren; and five siblings, Marian, wife of J. Wilbur Ginder, of Manheim, Carol Demmy of Ulysses, Eleanor, wife of Lester Shamber, of Hobe Sound, FL, Nina Nelson of Salunga, and H. Ronald, husband of Miriam Weaver, of Manheim. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 10 siblings, Arlene Dundore, Harvey Weaver, C. William Weaver, Medwin Hossler, E. Rosalin Hershey, Doris Miller, Joseph Weaver, Audrey Weaver, Edward Weaver, and H. Dale Weaver.
