Beloved husband of Barbara Anne (nee Riemersma) Keenan, whom he married October 15, 1960, loving father of Lisa (Phillip) Seeberg of Naperville, adored grandfather of Matthew Keenan Seeberg and Laura Katelyn Seeberg, devoted son of the late Arthur Patrick and Mary Keenan, dear brother of Kenneth (Karen) Keenan, Kathryn (the late Roger) Fink, Marlene (Dennis) Murdock and the late Harold (Norma) Keenan, brother-in-law of Lois (the late John) Roghair and Ruth (the late Dale) Stover, fond uncle, great-uncle and friend of many.
John grew up in Manchester, IA, served in the U.S. Army from 1954-1956 and was a graduate of the University of Iowa, Iowa City with a degree in Business Administration. He was employed by Griffin Pipe Products, Oak Brook and Downers Grove, IL for many years. John was a member of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church in Naperville, enjoyed golfing and was an enthusiastic Chicago Cubs fan.
