Obituary for Doris Myrl Bancroft (nee Topp)
Peacefully in her sleep at Cama Woodlands, Burlington, Doris passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour on Saturday, October 17, 2015 in her 104th year. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Bancroft. Dearly loved mother of Gloria (Don) Smith and Paul (Wynn) Bancroft. Cherished grandmother of David (Margaret), Doug (Desiree), Heather (Alexander), Sarah (Mark), great-grandmother of Brendon, Jonathan (Jenna), Rebecca, Lisa, Melissa, Kaitlyn, Matthew, Abigail, Ella, Chloe, and great-great-grandmother of David, Kaylee, Jalylee and Jolina. Predeceased by her three brothers and four sisters. She will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to visit with the family at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown on Saturday, October 24, 2015 from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. when a Funeral Service will take place in the Chapel. Reception to follow. Interment Burlington Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in memory of Doris to the Child Evangelism Fellowship or the Gideons Bible Society.
