ALLAN PAUL WIESE

Allan, son of Carl Frederick and Leona Marie Andresen Wiese, was born July 28, 1935 at his grandmother's home in Harlan, Iowa. After attending Irwin schools he worked on a farm in the Irwin area. Later he worked for Pacific Adhesives in Manning.

On June 14, 1959 Allan was united in marriage with Theda Towne at Walnut, Iowa. After their marriage they lived in Manning where Allan worked for Manning Heating & Sheet Metal for about a year. He then worked for Iowa Beef Processors, Inc. in Denison for over 25 years.

Allan was a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a former member of the Manning Fire Department. His family was of the utmost importance to him, however he had many interests including sporting events, hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was often referred to as Mr. Fix It Man by his family.

Allan's health began to fail in June of 1994 and he died at the Manning General Hospital on Wednesday, November 23, 1994 at the age of 59 years, 3 months, and 26 days.

He was preceded in death by his father and by his mother-in-law, Hermagene Towne.

Survivors include his wife, Theda, of Manning; his children: Roger Wiese and his wife, Chris, of Manning; Jean and her husband, Todd Stadtlander, of Manning; and Ronald Wiese and his fiancee, Heather Glenn, of LeMars; two grandchildren: Kara Jean Marie Stadtlander and Parker James Wiese; his mother, Leona Wiese, of Irwin; his father-in-law, Raymond Towne, of Walnut; two sisters: Lyla and her husband, Allan Thompson, of Irwin and Ladelle and her husband, Orlando Hanson, of Manilla; the following nieces and nephews: Kathleen Goans, of Kirkman; Lanette Thompson, of Idaho Springs, Colorado; Craig Thompson, of Irwin; Danny Thompson, of Irwin; Lana Cadwell, of Manilla; and Lance Hanson, of Manilla; aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
