Joseph Ruelle, 59, of 1028 24th street, Two Rivers, died Sunday following a lingering illness. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Emanuel Evangelical United Brethren church in Two Rivers. Interment will be in Forest View cemetery. He was born in Lena, Wis., in 1892 and was an overseas veteran of World War I. He located in Wausau where he married Miss May Krueger in 1924. The couple moved to Two Rivers the next year and operated a grocery store until 1931. He also was an appliance salesman for stores in Two Rivers. He was a member of the Eagles and an usher in the Emanuel church. Survivors are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. James Kilbane of Waukegan; son, Charles of Two Rivers; four brothers, Robert, Albert and Arthur of Two Rivers and Wilford of Sheboygan; three sisters, Mrs. Fred Zermuehlen and Mrs. Edward Beitzel of Two Rivers and Mrs. Tenis Cayo of Winthrop Harbor, Ill. Friends may call at the Klein and Stangel Inc., funeral home in Two Rivers.
