Born Dec. 13, 1946, in Exeter, he was the son of the late John and Ethel (Hill) Jackson.
He was a lifelong resident of Epping. He owned and operated his own trucking company in Epping for more than 20 years, called KJ&S Trucking.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served during the Vietnam War.
He was a former deputy police chief of Epping, and a former volunteer fireman in Epping.
In his spare time he enjoyed boating.
He is survived by one daughter, Marie Jackson-Bourdon of Deerfield; one son, Ronald Jackson of Epping; his longtime companion, Sheryl Gavin of Epping; his stepdaughter, Jacqulyn Gavin of Epping; one stepson, Joshua Gavin of Epping; two grandchildren, Natasha Bourdon and Teiana Bourdon, both of Deerfield; two brothers, Teddy Jackson of Northwood, and John Jackson of Florida; three sisters, Carol Currier of Deerfield, Doris Underwood of Exeter, and Ruth Coffin of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
