Hans Nielsen 1843-1914
Hans Nielsen, an old settler, died at his home North of Coulter last Wednesday. Mr. Nielsen moved here from Illinois at an early day and resided in this community continuously until his death. He leaves an aged wife to mourn his loss. The diseased was past 70 years of age. Funeral services were conducted at the St. John's Lutheran church, Sunday afternoon, by Rev. Bleker, of Latimer, and the remains were laid to rest in the cemetery adjoining the church.
