Mrs. May Ruelle, 84, of River Pine Community Health Center, Stevens Point, died Monday. Funeral services will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers. The Rev. Melvin Henrichs will officiate and burial will be in Forest View Cemetery, Two Rivers. Mrs. Ruelle was born Sept. 11, 1893, in Wausau, daughter of the late Charles and Sophia Krueger. She was married to Joseph Ruelle Sept. 30, 1924, in Wausau and worked as a x-ray technician for Dr. Joseph Smith, who pioneered the use of radiology in Wisconsin. She was then a x-ray technician at Two Rivers Municipal Hospital, Two Rivers, retiring in 1960. She was a 50 year member of Order of Eastern Star and a member of other civic groups. Survivors include a son, Charles of Stevens Point, a daughter, Mrs. James (Jeanne) Kilband of Madison; two brothers, August Krueger of Pomona, Calif., and Arthur of Wausau; a sister, Mrs. Malven Berg of Wausau, eight grandchildren and a great grandchild. Her husband preceded her in death May 21, 1950. Friends may call in Klein and Stangel Inc., Funeral Home, Two Rivers, after 4 p.m. Wednesday, where Eastern Star memorial services will be at 7 p.m.
