Alto - Funeral services for Cam'ron Jamell Matthews, 16, of Alto will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, October, 24th at the Rusk High School Gymnasium in Rusk, Texas with the Kaffee Andrews officiating. Burial will be held in the New Hope Cemetery under the direction of O.T. Allen & Son Funeral Home. Cam'ron went to be with his Lord Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Tyler, Texas. He was born October 29, 1998 in Jacksonville, Texas to Ronnie Matthews and Gayla Morgan Matthews. He was a junior at Alto High School and was a starting Wide Receiver and Free Safety as well as the back-up Quarterback on the undefeated Yellowjacket football team. Cam'ron was on the Student Council as well as the A-B honor roll. Cam'ron lived in Alto all of his life and was a member of the Alto Church of Christ. Survivors include Parents Ronnie & Gayla Matthews - Alto, Texas, Sisters Kierria Matthews - Lufkin, Texas, Paige Matthews - Alto, Texas, Grandmother Ann Morgan - Alto, Texas, Texas. Grandfather Kenneth Hackney - Houston, Texas, Numerous cousins, aunts uncles and other relatives.

Pallbearers will be Cam'ron's close friends and teammates. Honorary pallbearers will be the Alto High School coaching staff. No Visitation will be held.
