Stockton.
After a lingering illness of several months, Mr. Sidney Tull died at the home of his sister, Mrs. David W. Taylor, on Wednesday, February 24th, of a complication of diseases. Mr. Tull who had been in poor health for several years, was taken to a hospital in Philadelphia last May, and underwent a serious operation. He returned home in July, accompanied by his niece, Miss Edna Taylor. He was given careful attention and nurturing by his devoted mother and sister, but complications set in, and his death was not unexpected. He was the son of the late Gideon Tull and wife, Mrs. Harriett Tull. He is survived by his mother and one sister, Mrs. David W. Taylor. Funeral services, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Day of the Presbyterian Church, were held at the house, after which his remains were laid to rest in the M. E. Cemetery. The pall-bearers were Cassius Jones, Chestnut H. Jones, J. W. Tull, Parker Cherrix, G. W. Bratten and B. Sharpley. The funeral was attended by his cousins, Mrs. Edward Ross, Miss Cranmer, Miss Ardis, and Mr. Rayne, of Pocomoke, and Mr. and Mrs. Ardis of Greenbackville.

Transcribed from microfilm of the Democratic Messenger, Snow Hill, Md., March 6, 1915, available at the Snow Hill library.
