Lee-Ann Jansonius, 65, of Little Rock and Galveston, TX, died on October 7, 2015 at St. Vincent Infirmary of complications following heart bypass surgery. She was born in Little Rock to the late Dr. John D. Christian, Sr. and the late Virginia Rupprecht Christian on February 23, 1950. She is survived by her husband of almost 43 years, Mitch Jansonius, her brother John D. Christian, Jr., her brother and sister-in-law Neal and Linda Jansonius, four nieces and numerous close friends.

She was a successful businesswoman; a partner in The Heights Gallery, an art gallery that specialized in introducing and representing works by emerging Arkansas artists for 34 years. She loved books, especially mysteries, epic poems, puns, birdwatching, exotic international travel and life at the seashore. She extremely disliked racism, sexism, gun violence and all other forms of bigotry. She will be remembered for her intelligence, her dry, quick wit and her kindness.

A memorial service conducted by Dr. Ron Sisk of Loveland, Colorado, a longtime friend, will be in the chapel of Ruebel Funeral Home at 11:30 AM on Saturday, October 17th. A reception in the parlor will follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to F.U.R.R., Heifer International, The American Heart Association or a favorite charity.

Mrs. Jansonius' ashes will later be scattered on waterways that she loved in locales around the world. Arrangements are under the direction of Ruebel Funeral Home,
