Beloved husband of Regina. Dear father of Daniel (Barbara), the late Leroy (Antonia), Mary Ann and Anthony "Ernie" (Nancy). Further survived by many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Anton was preceded in death by his son, Leroy and grandchildren, Scott Peebles and Cheryl Baumgartner. Anton was born in Strasburg, ND on July 14, 1915. He was a member of the CCC from 1933 to 1939 and a KC member for several years thereafter. He married Regina Schwab Jan. 23, 1940 and farmed until 1950, when he moved his family to Milwaukee. Over the years, he was employed at Artbilt Furniture, Milwaukee County Stadium, the City Park System and Red's Tavern as a bartender. He retired from Red's in 1992. He was a member of the Holy Name Society for 2 years. His hobbies were cars and working with tools.
