Clarence "Alex" Nelsestuen, 69, rural Ettrick died Wednesday, March 4, 1987 at Lutheran Hospital in LaCrosse.
He married Irene Hogden on August 17, 1940 in French Creek, rural Ettrick. He was a dairy farmer in French Creek all of his life. Among many activities he was associated with restoring Pioneer cemetery in French Creek and had served on the the French Creek Cemetery board.
Survivors include his wife, three sons: Gary, Rodney and Richard and a daughter Lou Ann Severson. Also survived by three brothers: Harland, Orville and Irvin and one sister Normina Severson and eight grandchildren. One grandson and one sister (Gladys) have died.
Funeral services were held Saturday March 7 at French Creek Lutheran Church rural Ettrick with the Rev. Roger Kampstra officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
