"Death Claims Well Known S.L. resident ~ Mrs. Alma Youngberg Fisher, 79, of 1206 West Second South street, died Wednesday at 5 a.m. at her home of causes incident to age. She was the widow of Albert Fisher, founder of the Fisher Brewing Company.

Mrs. Fisher was born in Malmo, Sweden, May 17, 1861, a daughter of Andreas F. and Olivia Youngberg. She came to Salt Lake City at the age of ten and had resided here since.

In 1882 she was married to Mr. Fisher and two years later the Fisher Brewing Company was established. Mrs. Fisher was interested in business herself and was owner of the Alma Fisher Properties, holder of much real estate in Salt Lake City.

Active in club work, she was a member of Miriam Rebekah lodge No. 5 and the Service Star Legion.

Surviving are three sons, Frank A., who succeeded his father as president and manager of Fisher Brewing Company; Albert B. Fisher of Salt Lake City, and Carl A. Fisher, member of the United States foreign service, now stationed at Zurich, Switzerland, and a daughter, Mrs. Fred Davidson of Salt Lake City, 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Selma Kendell of Salt Lake City.

Private funeral services will be conducted Friday at 11 a.m. at 1206 West Second South street, and burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Relatives ask that no flowers be sent."
