David H. Ladd, age 62, of Gibsonburg, OH passed away on Sunday, October 11, 2015 at Bay Park Community Hospital, Oregon, OH.

He was born on November 8, 1952 in Fremont, OH to Harold and Jean (Frey) Ladd. On September 23, 1972 he married Linda Hoodlebrink in Stony Ridge, OH and she survives.

For 32 years he worked at Ohio Lime, Woodville and then at the Lowe's Store. He was a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, Elmore, OH. In his spare time he enjoyed: camping, hunting, fishing and mushroom hunting.

He also loved to cook, bake, especially Christmas cookies to share with his neighbors and making theme birthday cakes for his granddaughters. Spending time with his wife, daughter and granddaughters brought him the most joy.

David is survived by his wife of 43 years: Linda, daughter: Shannon Ladd, granddaughters: Heather and Helen all of Gibsonburg, mother: Jean Ladd of Woodville and sisters: Cherie (Sonny) Pierce of FL and Connie Hanshew of WV.

He was preceded in death by his father: Harold Ladd.
