Shirley Dufrene Bellanger passed away at her home on Monday, October 12, 2015 at 3:15PM. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, R. J. Bellanger. She is also survived by her daughters, Patricia B. Williams and Penny Ann Bellanger; her grandson, Brandon Paul Comeaux, (Heather); and her great grandson, Joseph Paul Comeaux. Shirley is also survived by her brother, Lawrence Dufrene Jr.; her sisters, Katherine D. Palmisano, and Peggy D. Colliver; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was the daughter of the late Lawrence Dufrene Sr., and Mae Marie Chauvin; and sister of the late Bambi Lynn Dufrene. Shirley was 77 years old. She was a devoted parishioner of Holy Guardian Angels Mission Church and a member of the Bridge City Senior Center.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass at Holy Guardian Angels Mission Church on Friday, October 16, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held at the church from 10:00 AM until Mass time. Burial in Gates of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego, LA.
