Joshua Clayton Freeman, 30, Salem, died October 14, 2015 at St. Vincent's Salem Hospital.

He was born on August 16, 1985 in Louisville, Kentucky. He was a 911 Dispatch Operator for Clark County. He was a Reserve Officer for the Salem Police Department. He was a former High School Wrestling Coach at Salem.

Survivors include his wife, Jamie (Fields) Freeman; parents, Samuel Clayton and Patricia Ann Freeman; two brothers, Jonathan Michael Freeman and Jacob Edward (Kaci) Freeman; grandfather, Ernest Motsinger; three aunts, Debbie Edwards, Larita (Greg) Sember, and Beverly Bonita Freeman.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Sam and Jewel Freeman, and Myreta Motsinger.

The funeral service will be at 11 AM Saturday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 4-8 PM Friday and from 10 AM until time of service on Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery. Brother Jimmy Clemmer will officiate.
