Actor. He was an actor who appeared in both television and films, the most famous being "Police Academy" where he played the "Hispanic pretending lover" police cadet George Martin. After attending the famous American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, he got his start first as a television writer and then in acting in commercials for Sprite soda. Rubin then transitioned into television, appearing in such series as "Ironside", "Streets of San Francisco", "Cannon", "The Jeffersons", and "Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman". Besides "Police Academy", he also appeared in such films as "Casey's Shadow", "Little Miss Marker", and "Tell Me That You Love Me". After "Police Academy, Rubin appeared in either television series or miniseries such as "Hardcastle and McCormick", "Joe Bash", and "Hometown". He would still do an occasional miniseries or documentary up until his passing.
