Loren retired from Navistar following many years of service. He was a member of the Springfield Church of Christ, F.O.E. Aerie 397, Moose Lodge and the Union Club.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Rita A. (Rinehart) Corns; three children, Terri (Ed) Funderburgh of Woodstock, Richard (Rosalind) Corns of Nashville, TN and Kathi Hawkins of Springfield; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren; a sister, Donna (Charles) Haney of Springfield; a brother, William Edwin (Ruth) Corns of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a sister, June Haubeil.
