Margaret Mott Hinson, 73, of Athens, passed away Wednesday, July 22, 2009. A native of Crisp County, Ga., Mrs. Hinson was the daughter of the late Marvin and Fannie Lou Raines Mott and was preceded in death by her husband, Wilburn Walker Hinson. She was retired from Peeler Dairy as an administrative assistant and was a member of First Baptist Church of Athens.

Survivors include sons, Gary Hinson and Joel Hinson (Alicia); daughter, Donna Line; brother, Marvin Mott (Lawanna); sisters, Margie Hatcher (Milton) and Luann Rogers (James); grandchildren, Josh, Aubrey and Caroline Hinson and Andy Rodgers; and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, July 25, at Bernstein Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. - 8 p.m., Friday, July 24, at the funeral home.

Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to Odyssey Hospice, 575 Research Drive, Athens, GA 30605.
