Fred W Allen, 67, 309 E. Drinker st, Dunmore, died Saturday afternoon following an illness of six weeks. He was born in Dunmore 21 May 1862. Mr Allen was a member of POS of A, the Jr OUAM and the Order of Railway Conductors. Surviving are a daughter, Kathryn L Ringler of Dunmore; son, Attorney CJ Allen of Boston; and three grandchildren, Mary A and Allen Ringler and Francis A McCormack. Funeral Tuesday afternoon, Dunmore Cemetery. ~Scranton (PA) Republican, Mon 12 Aug 1929
