Mrs. Love, daughter of the late Charles Owens and wife Sarah, nee Baker, was born January 8, 1905, at Cooper Hill. She received her education at the Success School at Cooper Hill.
On December 26, 1924, she was married to Mr. David Love. The ceremony was held in St. Louis.
Mrs. Love was a member of First Baptist Church, Washington. She was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Love; one son, Charles Love; one son-in-law, Larry Mense; six brothers, Jess, Chestley, Les, Sam, Arch and Glendel Owens; and by five sisters, Effie Baker, Bessie Jett, Nellie Branson, Della Rogers and Etta Miller.
Mrs. Love is survived by one daughter, Nola Mense; four grandchildren, Mike Mense and wife, Cindy, Lenexa, Kansas, Ralph Mense and wife Jean, Atlanta, Georgia, Dan Mense and wife Linda, Washington, and Pat Mense and wife Lori, Washington; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, October 27, at Nieburg-Vitt Funeral Home, Washington, with Rev. Chuck Williams officiating. Interment was in the Presbyterian Cemetery, Washington.
